What is Clinical Canine Massage Therapy?

Canine massage is a hands on non-invasive therapy. It is used to help in the rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries such as strains and sprains, which may present themselves as lameness or an inability to perform normal daily activities. It also provides pain management to ageing dogs and dogs suffering from orthopaedic and chronic conditions such as Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia. Working and service dogs will also benefit from treatments to maintain optimum muscular health.

Results you can see and your dog can feel in 1-3 sessions!

FAQs

  • At our initial session I will ask multiple questions about your dogs lifestyle, health concerns and activities of daily living.

If there is an appropriate area outside, I will conduct a gait analysis to check for any irregularities in your dogs gait. After this, a full body muscular palpation will take place.

Then our first treatment can begin. Everything goes at you dogs pace to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Between consultation and treatment, you can expect this first session to last up to 90minutes.

Consecutive sessions will last between 45-50 minutes.

We advise 3 weekly sessions initially for best results. Ongoing maintenance sessions may be required going forward to help manage chronic conditions.

I work best practice so do not book block bookings.
